Check-in: Contactless check-in is available whenever possible. Your guest service coordinator will be in touch with you to answer any questions you may have.
Maintenance requests: We’ll only visit a home during your stay if there’s an emergency maintenance issue. An emergency maintenance phone number will be provided when you arrive.
Cleaning: Your home will be cleaned and disinfected before you arrive to the highest of cleaning standards.
In-home supplies: You can expect your home to be stocked with basic supplies for a group of your size with starter sets of paper towels, toilet paper, travel size toiletries, starter set of dishwasher tabs, dish detergent, 2 garbage bags and a fresh new sponge. You will be responsible to pick up consumable products for the remainder of your stay.

Keep in mind about purchasing travel insurance which is offered after you book.
Salt & Shine encourages travel insurance to protect your investment and THIS IS WHY:
- If you need to cancel due to Covid, we will refund your deposit - if we can re-rent the dates.
- If we cannot- we will refund the cleaning portion of the payment and the fees paid to Vrbo if applicable.
- BUT… If you have a medical emergency or there is a case of misfortune or an act of nature, standard travel insurance will refund your trip.
- We will offer to switch your dates to a later time this year or for the following year.
- BUT… If you purchase Cancel for Any Reason Insurance (CFAR) – it will reimburse 50% of your investment.
What To Know When Purchasing Travel Insurance
You have until 30 days prior to arrival to purchase standard travel insurance.
Standard travel insurance retail price: 7% x trip cost.
Reservations are mostly non-refundable.
Covers 100% of covered trip cancellation and interruption reasons & covers 60% of any trip cancellation reasons not listed in the policy.
We recommend purchasing this insurance for peace of mind and to protect your investment.
From time of booking, you have 10 days to purchase Cancel For Any Reason Travel Insurance (CFAR).
This insurance will protect your investment in case of any unforeseen event(s) against all possible risks.
Example: Our governor shuts down the state for lodging or travel.
Under these circumstances, Salt & Shine will offer you the option to postpone your trip to a later date.
If you choose not to pick a later date, CFAR insurance will help to protect a portion* of your investment.
*Please note: you will receive 50% of your investment from CFAR.
